It's hard to believe Election Day is finally here!
Most people I speak to feel a tremendous sense of anticipation.
Malcolm, the British political activist I am following around Cincinnati, and later today, around Chicago, is up at 5 in the morning, ready to be put to use doing any kind of 'Get Out The Vote' (GOTV) activities.
And I am up too.
Both candidates agree that the next 4 years have to be drastically different than the last 8, but it's now up to the American people to decide who will help them write what Obama has called 'the next chapter in the American story.'
Please help spread the word to all Americans you know to get out and vote! And if you happen to come across a Starbucks anytime today, you'll get a free coffee if you tell them you did!
In the meantime, here's Barack Obama's speech from his rally at the University of Cincinnati two days ago. I recorded this from my seat in the crowd so at times you may hear mine and Malcolm's voices.
We are leaving for Chicago around 1 o'clock Eastern Standard Time where Malcolm suspects there will be plenty of parties as he puts it, 'when Obama wins!'
